The VCS Group of Companies celebrated its 25th anniversary at a red carpet event at the Kempinski Seychelles Resort in Mahé, which was attended by over 200 employees and guests.VCS, a Xerox distributor, is also accredited to provide managed print services (MPS), which allows its customers to take advantage of the significant benefits of a Xerox MPS solution. VCS has been on a steady growth trajectory, with its Xerox business alone having achieved year-on-year growth in the higher double digits for several consecutive years.VCS’s group executive chairman Marc Houareau has acknowledged and thanked its directors, shareholders, staff and customers, as well as the company’s banking partners and auditors for the roles they’ve played in its development and success.”We have brought Seychelles a little bit closer to the world as we became the pioneers of technology, and together, we started the digital revolution in our country,” says Houareau.The business was founded 25 years ago as a small computer firm offering software and hardware services. VCS has experienced tremendous growth, and today employs nearly 170 staff. It operates 13 distinct companies in seven business sectors, including automobile, information and communications technology, import and distribution, marketing and publishing, printing, travel and tourism and investment.The group, which has several offices, showrooms and warehouses on Mahé and Praslin, also represents some of the world’s most recognised brands such as BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Isuzu, Peugeot, Diageo, Bacardi, Microsoft, Xerox and many others.
